How it’s calculated

Totals your Daily Allowance (tour days × your entered DA rate) with your actual Journey Fare, Lodging Charges and Local Conveyance — it does not apply any official rate table on your behalf.

Total Daily Allowance = Tour Days × Daily Allowance Rate Estimated Total TA/DA Claim = Total Daily Allowance + Journey Fare + Lodging Charges + Local Conveyance

Assumptions

  • This is distinct from the monthly Transport Allowance calculator — it covers Travelling Allowance / Daily Allowance for an official tour or temporary duty journey, not your regular monthly commute allowance.
  • Does not embed any official Daily Allowance rate table, entitlement class, or per-km mileage rate — DA rates vary by Pay Level and city classification and are revised periodically. Enter your own current applicable rate.
