PPO Self-Audit
A guided self-check of the details worth verifying in your Pension Payment Order — and who to approach about each one.
Last updated 23/08/2026
Quick summary
- A preparation tool, not an official check — it never sees your PPO and cannot confirm anything about your entitlement.
- Answer a few general questions and get back a list of things worth verifying, each with the authority that can actually confirm or correct it.
- Your answers stay in the browser tab only. Nothing is saved, stored or uploaded — and you should never enter document numbers or personal details.
- Most PPO problems are cheap to fix now and very hard to fix later, which is the whole reason to look early.

Question 1
Do you have a copy of your PPO available to look at?
Either a physical copy, or one you can download from your SPARSH account.
Frequently asked questions
No. It never sees your PPO and cannot read, validate or verify any document. It asks general questions and turns your own answers into a list of things worth checking. Only your Record Office, PCDA(P) or your Pension Disbursing Authority can confirm what your PPO should say.
No, and you should not. Every question is generic and answered by choosing an option. Never type document numbers, Aadhaar, PAN, bank details or names into this or any similar tool.
No. They exist only in this browser tab while you use the tool and are gone when you leave or press Start Again. Nothing is written to storage, added to My Service Details, or sent anywhere.
No. SPARSH is the official system for Defence pension administration, including Pensioner Data Verification and your PPO/Corrigendum PPO repository. This tool is only a preparation step to help you know what to look at before you open SPARSH or contact an authority.
No. A flagged item only means it is worth confirming against your own record. It is a prompt to check, never a finding about your actual entitlement.
Not necessarily. The result reflects only what you told it, and it has not seen your document. If anything about your pension looks wrong in practice, raise it with your Pension Disbursing Authority or PCDA(P) regardless.
